Car history:
You are looking at a 1976 Chevrolet Corvette L-82. This car is in really good
condition, and I am the 3rd owner. This car has never been horsed around and
has always been maintained properly. The previous owner rebuilt the front end of
the car and refurbished the interior in the last six years. There is no rust on the
car and the paint is in good condition. There are some rock chips in the front, but
when you wash and wax the car, it looks really good. Originally, this was a
yellow 'vette, but the previous owner hated yellow and had it painted red. I was
told that the red was a factory Chevelle color, but I can't confirm that.

Since I have had the car, I have added a New Malory H.E.I. distributor, New
600 cfm Holley Carb, New Harmonic balancer, New Water pump, New Rear Main
Seal, New 160 degree thermostat and chrome cover, New alternator, New GM
orange engine paint, New rear wheel bearings, New U-Joints, New Flowmaster
Series 40 Mufflers, New weather stripping all around, Car Cover, New Tires (less
than 1000 miles), and many other upgrades. Absloutely everything works on this
car, the only thing you need to do is take the T-Tops off, crank it up and drive.

I love this car and actually don't want to sell it, but I'm deploying next month
and I promised my wife that I would sell a toy so that we could have a bit of a
surplus in the bank in case of an emergency. This is honestly one of those
Corvettes that are really rare (the condition, not the model). I have seen a lot of
Stingrays, and this one is in the best condition inside, outside, and most
importantly underneath that I have ever seen. Most of the Stingrays that you see
on ebay that are nicer than this one are anywhere from 15K up to 30K, and I'm
not asking anywhere near that. If you want a '76 L-82 Corvette that is the last
year that the 'vette was actual designated "Stingray" by GM, then this is the car
for you. This really is a nice car, the paint isn't in "showroom" condition, but it's
definately a very nice driver. If I don't end up selling it, I'll probably get it
repainted the factory red for the year at some point. This, however, isn't a priority
since it looks great the way it is.

There are no problems with the car, but the brakes are beginning to squeal a
little, so the pads should be replaced soon. Also the previous owner installed rear
speakers and a 6 disc CD changer. The stereo is not stock for the year, but from
a later Corvette year. I bought a new RetroSound model 1C Stereo with an
external 1/8" aux input in the front w/ the install kit for the car. This has not been
installed yet and comes with the car. I also bought door panel sound deadeners
and a new starter for the car, but those haven't been installed yet either.
