Engine details: 10-2015 lost #5 cylinder main bearing at 130 mph on an on-ramp. Rebuilt the original high nickel L88 block, creating a 383 Stroker which produced 448 hp and 492 ft lb torque on dyno.

For about $13,500.00 in upgrades in the winter 2018 to spring 2019, in addition to the purchase price of $6,000.00 (2011) I have a comfortable cruiser that routinely destroys 707 HP HellCats and late model stock Corvettes without batting an eye.

Timeslip at Union Grove Dragway in July 2019:
0-60 3.1 seconds
1/4 mile (STANDING) 10.531 @ 131.05 mph - through stock 4-speed and rear axle (3.42) on BF Goodrich Radial T/As.
Other details: Upgraded the nasty OEM steering with a STEEROIDS unit - which I highly recommend to everyone. Suspension completely removed, rebuilt, every component in the braking system was replaced with new or rebuilt OEM components. Stops like a Corvette should now. Custom chambered dual exhaust, sounds like side pipes - NO MUFFLERS.

Interior left stock, with the exception of a hidden BlueTooth system and new dash speakers and a custom made (hidden) rear speaker system (unit mounted under passenger seat) above the wheel wells that cannot be seen, but heard.

M21 Transmission rebuilt, shifting linkage rebuilt and adjusted, Clutch is a RAM Pro Street Dual Disc Clutch. Ran out of money - have to wait until the coffers are resupplied to put in a 6 speed manual so I can obtain higher top end speeds. All out this thing might hit 155-160 mph (M21) but it will be shut down by the 7,400 RPM rev limiter.

Car history:
Car was purchased by my insurance agent in 1996 from a customer of his. It languished in his garage unused for about 6 years and become a home for mice. He passed in Sept 2010, his family asked if I was interested in purchasing it in March 2011, I was and I did for $6,000.00. It needed a bunch of TLC.

Lots of ridiculous repairs had been made by the previous owners - what a bunch of mooks. I fixed those items and others properly then in 2015, after blowing the motor I invested around $13,500 worth of parts/components and my labor to build a street monster - The CorveRat.
