Car history:
1) 1970 Chevrolet Corvette When most car enthusiasts dream about owning Corvettes they think Big Block Corvettes. They didn't get any bigger than the 1970 LS5 454 Cubic Inch Big Block engine! History: The 1970 Chevrolet Corvette's engine was enlarged (the Big Block known as the Rat motor) to its largest displacement ever at 454 Cubic Inch. The relatively low production in 1970 was caused by a labor dispute that started in May of 1969. This dispute caused the 1969 production run to be stretched 4 months and the 1970 run to be cut short. Specs: The Trim Tag verifies that this 1970 Corvette was built on CO5 which was March 5th and it is painted the Forrest original color 976 Mulsanne Blue that it was originally with a 403 black Leather interior. This Corvette came with all the options including the LS5 454 engine auto transmission PS PB Leather interior dual exhaust air conditioning. It has been brought back to like new condition with an engine compartment that looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. This could easily win a Flight Award at a NCRS Meet. It is by far the most tractable big-engine Corvette made it idles fairly smoothly at 600 rpm with the automatic transmission in drive but from outside the car there's still that monster rumble to let any and all know this is a big one. BiN $52,900 (Ended) on October 11, 2017.
