Very nice 1980 corvette. All the hard work is done, just needs the finishing touches. 95% completed of a total restoration. Ran out of time, money and patience to complete. This is a No Reserve auction, high bidder takes it home, I'm sacrificeing a lot of time and money invested but the car must go. Someone is going to get a lot of car for the money. About the car - -Solid frame was sand blasted to bare metal and painted, rebuilt A-frames and trailing arms. All new brake lines, calipers, pads, and master cylinder. New shocks front and back. Exhasut is in good shape with new catylatic converter. -Rebuilt V8 350 non-original motor and rebuilt transmission that runs very strong. New power steering pump and hoses. A/C compressor is there but will need hose. . The engine starts right up and runs very well but would run best with a tune up.. - The seats have new covers, the carpet is new, new battery, and steering wheel and dash are in good condition. Door panels are in good condition, the widows go up and down. The automatic door lock motors need replaced. New door and window weatherstrip and the t-top weather strip is in decent condition. - All interior lights are in good working order. All exterior lights work, the head lights go up and down as they should. The heater and wipers currently do not work - relays? - Very solid body with no cracks. New paint about a year ago. Brand new tires on polished aluminum rims. New door lock set. All the major items down to the frame have been overhauled and with a little work this car would be great car for the money.
