Car history:
Offered for sale is my 1975 Corvette convertible. This is a very rare option
combination with the 4-speed manual Super T-10 transmission and air
conditioned, although the compressor is not hooked up. This is full numbers
matching car, engine and transmission. This is not a Barrett-Jackson car, its my
daily driver which explains the 260,000 miles. That also explains why this is
better than a low mileage garage queen. Many of the unforeseen little
peculiarities that are common to the 1975 have been remedied. The front cross-
member has been fully welded and reinforced, the tachometer has been fixed, the
exhaust system has been replaced with a real dual system that works and most
everything on the car has been rebuilt/refurbished. The original engine has been
rebuilt and has about 50,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. Email if you
have questions about the engine build or other details. I have owned and driven
this car for the past 30 years and it has always been garage kept. I hate to part
with this car but Im 67 and have reached a different point in my life. Car is sold
as is, where is, no warrantees expressed or implied. The only payment options
are Paypal or wire transfer.

In the interest of full disclosure there are a few items that may be of concern.
The heater is not hooked up because of the interior heat caused by circulating hot
water through the heater core, it flows all the time in this year C3. The heater
core did not leak when I disconnected it many years ago. The emergency brake
cable is corroded in its housing under the car and inoperative, however Ive never
needed it since this is a manual transmission and I just park with shifter in gear.
For convenience, Ive bypassed clutch/starter interlock electrical connection and
the seat belt alarm. Another item of non-originality is the cylinder heads. They
are early 90s cast iron fast burn / swirl port heads from police/light truck
applications and make a vast improvement over the stock heads. The smog
pump is not installed although it had been hooked up to pass smog the last time it
was required for this car, about 4-5 years ago. I will include the pump which has
very low miles. The transmission and radiator were rebuilt within the last year
and starter and water pump replaced within last year (new GM Delco parts, not
cheap rebuilds). The convertible top is in good condition except the rear window
is a little less than clear and has a small separation about long in the lower
right corner. I drive most of the time with the top down, I use it for emergencies only.

As for the engine rebuild it is .030 over on the stock block and uses the previously
described heads for approximately 10:1 compression ratio. The pistons are
hypereutectic flat top. It has a high pressure/high flow oil pump, roller timing
chain, aluminum Chevrolet Z-28 intake manifold with the original Q-jet
carburetor. The cam is a very mild Crane 272 degree dual pattern hydraulic.
Under some conditions, like cold, it will show a little idle irregularity, but not
objectionable. All in all, its a very well mannered engine that puts out about twice
the power of the original stock boat anchor.
