Car history:
1971 WAR BONNET YELLOW Corvette. Restoration nearly complete (NOT frame off).
T-top with rear window that removes as well.

I am told it is numbers matching but from my understanding that means different
things to people so I will say this. The engine and VIN match. I believe it to be
matching numbers but you need to confirm that. I am happy to check any numbers
asked. You will have to tell me what you want checked and I can send pictures.

I bought this car partly restored and continued the project. I have listed the work
done to date

EXTERIOR:
•New Paint work original War Bonnet Yellow a few small bubbles from moisture on
the rear quarter panels.
•Windshield frame repaired and painted, (birdcage).
•Windshield taken out reseated and sealed back in place.
•Replaced one rear bumper.

INTERIOR:
•Interior re-sprayed where not replaced.
•New door liners
•New Carpets.
•New carpet padding.
•Seats have been recovered.
•New fiber optic face plate on the center console.
•ALL door seals replaced
•T-top seals replaced
•Door mechanism’s repaired
•T-top chrome supports replaced.

GAUGES:
All gauges have been reconditioned by Roger Scott at: www.corvetteinstruments.com
Speedometer
gas gauge
Tachometer
Oil pressure gauge
Clock
Volt meter
Gas gauge

VARIOUS:
•Wiper motor was pulled apart cleaned and repaired
•Wiper circuit checked and repaired.
•Radiator support repaired and painted.
•Front cross member replaced.
•Gas or petrol tank was replaced by the previous owner but I cleaned it out anyway.

BRAKES:
•Brakes replaced front caliper
•Replaced master cylinder
•Replaced rear brake lines on both wheels.
•Replaced rear caliper seals
•Bleed brake lines.

HEADLIGHTS:
•Headlight assemblies were disassembled painted, cleaned.
•Two headlights replaced.
•Incidental parts on headlight assembly repaired or replaced.

ENGINE AREA:
New coil.
Carburetor kit installed, carb is a Rochester Quadra Jet.

WORK LEFT TO DO:
- Vacuum system needs checking as headlights & wiper door stay up. Plenty of
vacuum in lines.
- Front drivers side had suspension spring replaced by previous owner and needs
shock absorber put in.
- Horn switch on steering column needs service as the horn does not sound. Horn
relay checked OK.
- There is no spare wheel, I never had it.
- Tires need replacing. One is very good but would be better with all new.
- May be small incidental things to complete but this is the bulk of it.
- Check all lights, I put new bulbs in most.

EXTRAS:
I have the seat belt buckles
Chrome covers for the distributor included.
Some incidental small parts you can have as well.

ABOUT THE CAR:
- The car starts and drives. It drives well but could do with a tune up as it has not
had one yet. The steering seems great and really it is a beautiful car as far as I
am concerned and as far as the many people who drive past looking are concerned.
I have a transmission gasket kit I am happy to include. I was given it but never
bothered to install it. The transmission works fine. Does leak a little from the pan
gasket, but not enouh to bother me.

I understand the car is worth a lot more finished but I have had enough of working
on it. Anyone who has restored a car from pretty much a shell knows it is a lot of
work. Money is tight and it is time for someone else to enjoy it, with minimal work
you will have an awesome car.
