| Project car. Body in great shape. Needs Paint job and interior work. L-48 350 motor rebuilt less than 20,000 miles ago. Glass and mirrored T-tops in perfect shape. Valued by a Corvette restoration place at $6,500 in as is condition $18,000 if completly restored. Needs minor mechanical work. Origional trim code is 59C and 19L paint. Alot of people have been asking me what mechanical work it needs. Here is my answer: It needs some vacuum lines replaced that have cracked from sitting. It needs a new neutral safty switch. It needs new exhaust from manifolds back. I would replace the dash wiring harness if l was going to keep it. It needs a power steering pump pulley. The one that is on it is slightly bent in one spot. And honestly that is all l have seen besides cosmetic. I have only driven it down the road when l got it in a trade with some other cars. Motor runs and sounds great. Tranny shifts good. I would imagine you would want to change shocks and simple things like you would have to do with any 30 yr old car. Again l listed it cheap and as a project car not trying to misrepresent anything. I am not a Corvette expert so that is why l called the restoration shop to come give me an idea if it was worth anything or if l should part it out. They said it was in good enough shape to restore.
