|One of the nicest driving 1971 Corvette coupes that I've driven in a long time. It has a very nice and responsive 350, with an automatic 3 speed transmission. Brakes are excellent, driving is nice and tight, no perfect but great for a driver quality car like this one. It has a 1971 Corvette 350 engine, era correct, but not the original engine. Can't really get much closer. This is a CJL engine code, 270 horse power. It has power steering, power brakes, factory a/c., tilt/tele. The factory am/fm radio works excellent, no static. The a/c has freon in it, and it spins. It wouldn't take much to make the a/c function properly inside the car. It doesn't blow cold air in the car, the vents aren't opening properly, but the fan clutch spins non stop. The car runs cool, and like always the clock doesn't work but the rest of the factory gauges work just fine. The headlights rotate nice and quick, the wiper door works, and wipers work on both speeds too. The exterior color is Bridgehampton Blue (979), with correct black interior. I drove the car for over an hour, and it ran excellent, ran cool, drove nice and straight, stopped good. Sounds healthy, no engine noises. This is a nice driver quality car, clean body, nice paint, of course there are imperfections such as minor nics and scratches, chrome is nice, not perfect. Frame is clean, spare tire is original. All panels line up nicely. The drivers seat has a tear, carpet is old, otherwise in nice driver quality shape. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is D25. 92,000 miles. June 13, 2013.
