Car history:
I have owned the car since May 1979. At that time it was painted Arctic White. That was a color change from what I thought was the original color Lemans Blue. The engine had a 780 3310. Holley Carb and solid lifters as well as rectangular ported intake manifold. The engine number didn't match anything. It was the 3674 produced Corvette. A friend of mine ,who was a Corvette enthusiast and NCRA member came over and we went through the numbers on the engine, intake, distributer, transmission, rear end, horn etc.The engine was a warranty replacement short block. Evidently somebody blew the engine under warranty. The trim plate on the door said original color was Rally Red.It is now Rally Red with Tri Power Carbs and everything else is under restoration. It will be a driver vehicle when completed.
