Up for sale is a Bloomington Gold Survivor certified '72 Big Block coupe. This car was Survivor certified on June 23rd, 2012. This is a numbers matching, highly optioned big block and your chance to get an unrestored classic muscle car. Believed to have 95k original miles. Specifications include:
454 LS5 Big Block Motor M21 Close Ratio 4 Speed Transmission C60 Air Conditioning J50 Power Brakes N40 Power Steering N37 Tilt / Telescopic Steering U79 AM / FM Stereo Radio 979 Targa Blue Exterior 404 Deluxe Black Leather Interior Partial Paint Sticker - Enough to verify LS5 454, Vin, and several options.
The body is laser straight. The paint is the original lacquer with 40 years of checking, chips and nicks. However, it still looks good from a few feet and is original! The interior is in very nice condition. The leather seats are still in very nice shape and free from cracks and tears. The dash and t-top covers are crack free and the center console is not broken. (above the gauges, below the center vents....you C3 guys know what I am talking about.) The car runs and drives very well and best of all the air conditioning still blows very cold!!! The headlights and wiper door function properly. The only non operational items currently are the clock and oil pressure gauge.
This is not a restored show car so do not expect it to be like new. It is a beautiful unrestored classic. The '72 Corvette marked an end of an era for American muscle cars. This is a serious auction with a very low reserve.....there will be a new owner! I am not an unrealistic seller with a reserve that has no chance of being met. |
