Car history: |
For Sale: 1973 Corvette with original Motor and Transmission. Numbers Match. This car has only had two owners since 1973. We are the second. As you can see in the pictures we have the orignal paperwork that came with the car to include the original title. To a collector that is gold.
Motor: 350. good and strong. The Pollution pump was taken off which I have. The Valve covers were changed ,we don't have the original. The timing chain cover was also changed. The Carb needs the automatic choke fixed. The Exhaust is good front to back. Needs tune up, Needs some brake work. The pedal goes to the floor. The car hasn't been driven on the road since 2000. But has been started.
Body: We have about a 4" crack front drivers side by the headlight. The chrome and emblems are in good shape. The paint is dead. Needs painted. There are some chips and bubbles that would need to be fixed before painted. The Headlights work but need to be rebuilt they have to be pulled up. We have both T-Tops and they are in good shape. You will need Tires. Lets not forget we are talking about a 37 year old car.
Interior: The most important the Dash.. Its in great shape. No rips, cracks or tears. Needs carpet. We have most all of it out. The door panels have cracks. The Drivers seat has rips. The panels can be replaced for around 150-200 dollars. The seat can be reworked. All gauges work except the Tach. Probably needs cable. Has original radio but it doesn't work. Clock, heater, wipers, turn signals, doors and windows are all good.
If you've always just wanted a vette or are a collector this is a good car for you. If this car was restored it would sell for 22-$23000.00. It wouldn't take much to be a daily driver and work on it as you go. For the collector most everything is hear. The paperwork the numbers match and only missing a few original findable parts. The Daily Driver tune it up, put new tires on it, fix the brakes and drive it. The Collector the small things don't even matter because you are gonna tear it down and rebuild the whole car and put it on Barrett Jackson and make a bunch of $.
Now your asking why don't we triple our money? The only reason we are selling this car is because right now we need other things and we don't have the money to invest.
We can not Deliver the car so you will have to arrange your own pick up. The car will have to be shipped due to the brakes. Buyer will pay for all shipping and arrangments.
This car belongs to my wife. When she bought it the seller and her went to a Notary Pubic and got a notorized Bill of Sale. Thats all she needed to get a tag here in Georgia. He later sent the title to her from Kansas and she also has that. When we sign the car over to the new buyer we will give you a new Bill of Sale plus the one she has and the title. |
