Thank you for looking at my listing! I will try to describe all of the problems I know of to my best abilities. I am going to be as honest as possible, my 100% positive feedback and powerseller status verifies that. I bought this car 6-12 months ago, had my fun with it, and now need to make room, I have like 4 other cars. As you can see from what I sell on ebay that I know computer components, and not cars. I have not done anything to this car since I bought it, only drove it maybe 150 miles max. It sits for about a month between drives.

Engine: It has somewhere around 175,000 original miles on it, probably a little over. I was told when I bought it that it was rebuilt around 6-8K miles ago. I have no way of proving this, but the engine does look clean. If you had the car on that day it'll turn on the first try, no problems. However, since I have it sitting for a month at a time, it takes 2-3 turns of the ignition with a little pumping of the gas pedal before it starts. I think it's very reasonable considering its age and amount of time between starts. Once the car is started it will never die on you, it'll remain on until you turn it off. I've had it hesitate maybe twice when I went from idle to pushing hard on the gas, but only twice, very rare.

Transmission: The tranny works well, shifts on time and strong. There is however a fluid leak, pretty big one. I really don't know how much it's leaking. One day I went to take it for a drive and it wasn't able to move, due to being empty. I added some fluid and it's been good since. This was a good 3 months ago, and it was just droven a few days ago, so it's not that big of a deal, but obvious.

Brakes: They work well, no problems. I've had someone specifically ask about this, so I thought I would include it. I have no idea how much life is left on the pads or anything, but they work well, no squeeking, they could be new for all I know.

Body: This is ORIGINAL paint! It's definitely cracking everywhere, extremely obvious if you put your nose up to it. If you know these cars, then it's no surprise to you. When it's nicely washed from a distance it looks beautiful. There are very thin cracks in the tail lights, you wouldn't notice them. On the passenger side of the car, right behind the front wheel is crinkled upward. I think someone tried lifting it up on a jack and screwed it up. It's only on the passenger side, and I don't think it affects anything except the chrome there.

Interior: The leather seats are in decent condition in my opinion. There is an A/C and Heater, but I don't think it works, never really tried. The POWER WINDOWS WORK FLAWLESSLY! The driver's side door can not be opened from the outside due to a piece in the door that controls the lock and handle being rusted and broken. The door panel there is loose also. I think with the right little parts it would be an easy fix. The passenger door works fine. Note that this does not mean anyone can get in the car, it still locks fine, just the driver's side is always locked. The T-Tops work great, but one of them has the interior plastic off of it, I think it velcros back on, never tried to figure it out.

The turn signal lever is broken. You'll have to take apart the steering wheel column to get the broke piece out, and the new piece in(new piece is included!). The turn signals still work though, just takes a strong thumb to shove in there. The headlight switch is the same way, switch is broken, and the new piece is included. Because of this I have never had the headlights in the up or on position, I've only driven it during the day because of this. There is a Kenwood deck(audio, with CD Player) installed with a remote control, works well.

Finally, the most annoying problem is the brake lights wanting to stay on. It's the peddle I think. Even though it pops back up just fine it seems like the switch to turn off the brake lights isn't being engaged. Because of this it wants to always have the break lights on. You can manually pull the pedal up and it'll turn the lights off, but if there is any shake, like the door closing, it'll turn it right back on. If you know what you're doing, I'm sure this is an easy fix. My solution to this is a small piece of adjustable metal from the hardware store that I put under the pedal when I park it. That keeps the lights from turning on when I close the door, problem solved. You have to be careful though, it will kill the battery if you try leaving the lights on overnight.

The battery is on the inside of the car (where it should be), right behind the driver's seat (weight distribution). I think I left the lights on one day, or one month actually. I tried jumping it but it wouldn't jump, I replaced the battery, and bingo! I forgot about this... So the battery is probably only 6 months old, I think I bought it from Wal Mart.

Extras: I have a very thick binder that details how to perform a lot of maintenance on the car. Lots of diagrams to take things apart. The previous owner said it cost $1K from the dealer, I find it hard to believe, but he valued it highly. The original bag that you put the T-Tops in, and bracket to the metal on the rear of the car is included. It looks complicated to use though. Oh, and a complimentary used bottle of WD40 is included!

Tires: Practically new. They look like they were replaced around the time the engine was rebuilt, I see nothing but big treads on them, very good shape and clean. They're Goodyear Eagle GTII tires.

I don't think I forgot anything, but if you look hard enough you'll probably find a flaw here and there. It's as original as can be, a very good garage fixer upper, and I'm not just saying that. I like that it has a lot you can do to it, yet it'll still go anywhere you want it to now.

The tags are current, but expire in May. I plan on paying the registration fee in a few days, so you'll have a full year of registration, and there are no fees or anything like that on the title. Oh, and the title is CLEAN, not salvage!
