Car history:
I am proud to offer for sale my 1974 Custom Corvette truly one of a kind. This
Corvette just underwent a $15,000.00 face lift consisting of a complete 1982 front
end and rear bumper section. Was completely striped and custom painted. When I
purchased the 74 Corvette from a retired Navy Seals Officer he had over
$50,000.00 invested in the car. With one run at the track in the 1/4 mile it ran
8.09 @ 168 mph they then asked him to leave the track because the car needed
to be modified with a full roll cage etc. before it could be legal. Other than a few
runs to the local fire station and a few car shows the car just sat. Upon my
purchase I recreated the body and interior to my liking. Let me just say I'm 51
years old and have had fast cars all my life but never have I driven anything as
fast as this Corvette by far and the nicest thing about it is it starts up and runs and
drives on the street with no problems at all. I took it to my mothers house for a
family gathering which is about 45 miles away with absolutely no problems at all.
OUTSTANDING ENGINE FEATURES ARE AS FOLLOWS: Blown Nitrous oxide 1,500
plus horsepower 502 c.i.d. bored out .030 over includes but not limited to: B&M
8:71 mega blower (SUPER CHARGER) mysteriously modified plus reworked heads,
fitted with MILODON MEGA FLOW race intake plus exhaust race valves, LUNATI
SUPER PRO FORGED NITROUS RACING PISTONS, PRO BILLET RODS, AND
BEARINGS FOR BLOWN NITROUS SET-UP. LUNATI CUSTOM GRIDE BLOWER
ROLLER CAM for this engine application. ACCOMPANIED BY LUNATI HYDRAULIC
ROLLER LIFTERS, CRANE CHROME MOLY HIGH PERFORMANCE PUSH RODS,
LUNATI SUPER DUTY RACING DUAL SPRING ROLLER VALVE SPRINGS , VALVE
GUIDES , LOCKS AND VALVE SPRING RETAINERS. TOPPING THE HEADS ARE A
SET OF CRANE GOLD ROLLER RACE ROCKERS AND PUSH ROD GUIDEPLATES.
FEEDING THE MONSTER ARE TWIN MODIFIED HOLLY 850 CFM PR DOUBLE
PUMPER CARBURETORS DELIVERING 1700 + CFM'S FROM - 23" VACUUM TO
PLUS 9 POUNDS OF BOOST FOR STREET USE. FUEL IS DELIVERED BY A MALLORY
COMPETITION SERIES 140 ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP ALONG 1/2" STAINLESS STEEL
BRAIDED LINES TO A MALLORY COMP SERIES 140 CANISTER FUEL FILTER THEN
TO A B&G FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR AND FINAL B&G PRO SERIES FILTER
JUST BEFORE THE CARBS. THIS DISCHARGE IS THROUGH A PAIR OF HOOKER
JET COATED SUPER COMPETITION HEADERS TO A 3" FLOWMASTER EXHAUST
SYSTEM FOR THE MONSTER TO BREATHE ADD A FULL MSD HIGH PERFORMANCE
RACING IGNITION FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR TO IT'S REV LIMITER TO LIGHT IT UP
AND KEEP IT LIT. THE COCK PIT FEATURES A FULL SET OF AUTO-METER
PRO/COMP GAUGES. THIS MONSTER PUTS OUT A CONSERVATIVE 1,200 + BRUTE
HORSEPOWER ADD ANOTHER 250 H.P. PER CARBURETOR (DUAL NITROUS OXIDE
SYSTEMS) GETS THE CAR UP TO A CONSERVATIVE 1,500 + BAD HORSES. SOME
OTHER GOODIES INCLUDE CENTERFORCE DUAL - FRICTION CENTRIFUGAL
CLUTCH RICHMOND 4 SPEED T-10 RACING TRANSMISSION 3:71 POSSI -
TRACTION REAR FOR MAX. BURN OUT'S IN ALL FOUR GEARS.ALSO A BRAND NEW
SET OF CENTER LINE RACING WHEELS WITH NEW BF GOODRICH DRAG RADIALS
ON THE REAR AND NEW BF GOODRICH TA RADIALS ON THE FRONT.THE CHASIS
HAS BEEN FULLY RE-ENFORCED TO HANDLE THE MASSIVE HORSEPOWER, AND
THE SUSPENSION WAS MODIFIED FOR ADDED GROUND CLEARANCE AND HOOK
UP .THERE IS A HURST LINE LOCK AND SHIFTER FOR LAUNCHING THIS MONSTER
THAT HAS A 1/4 MILE ET. OF 8.09 IN THE 1/4 AT 168 MPH W/0 NITROUS.
DEPENDING ON CONDITIONS/HOOK UP, AND A TOP END OF 200 + MPH. I
WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE NITROUS OXIDE HAS NEVER BEEN USED ON THIS CAR.
