I am listing an original 1981 Corvette for my niece. She has owned this car since 1986 but the car has been in storage for about 20 years. It is original and runs well but it will need brake repairs before it can be road worthy. The speedometer broke before she set it up and although it now registers 67,814 miles, the actual milage on the car is approximately 80,000. Several years ago, she had it repainted a blue color, replacing the original gray, and the quality of the paint job was disappointing. It is now peeling on the hood and on the rear spoiler and there are cracks in the paint in various places on the body. Some of the emblems were also misplaced. In addition to the brakes and speedometer, the vacuum headlights are also inoperative. The car is equipped with a 350 C.I. engine, an automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, electric windows that work, an AM/FM/Cassette Radio, and cruise control. All of the glass is good including the "T" top. The interior is original. The seats are good as are the door panels but the padded dash is cracked in several places and the carpet needs to be replaced. The tires show good thread but they have been on the car since 1986. My niece has a clean, clear Texas title in her name in hand. The car is located in San Angelo, Texas and we invite your inspection.
