I am the second owner of this Vette and I purchased it from the original owner in 1988. I have had all the upper and lower ball joints replaced on the car and the steering is tight. All four wheel bearings have been replaced. The rear end has been completely and professionally rebuilt. The Vette still has its original interior and it is still in great shape with no rips or cracks. The car originally as a 454 engine however it was replaced with a 350 engine at the time of my purchase. The Vette now sports a brand new 427 engine that is very strong and very fast with less than one thousand miles on the rebuild. I have replaced everything inside the engine except for the rods but they were resized. It has the large oval port heads and they are rated at 400hp. The engine has the following new items: 30 over flat top pistons, Hastings rings, Cleveite rod and Main bearings, Felpro gasket set 268 Comp Extreme Energy cam and lifters, New water pump new oil pump, Double roller timing chain, Brand new 750 cfm Carburetor, Comp roller tip rocker arms. This is a very solid car and I know what I have. There are a few paint blemishes on the front cap of the car but they are slight. The Vette now has an L88 high rise hood on the car I also have the Big Block hood that came with the car. 88,597 miles. August 20, 2008.
