2) 1972 Corvette has new paint, interior, seat belts, T- top & door seals. Numbers matching 350, turbo 400 and rear end. Matching set of B. F. Goodrich tires with like new tread on original wheels. Last year for the pop out rear window, concealed wipers, chrome front and rear bumpers. Sold for $13,100 on November 9, 2017. 1) 1972 Corvette Stingray C3 runs and drives great. Could be a daily driver. Needs T-top seals and headlight actuators will lift lights up but will not pull them back down. From what I've seen, these are both fairly easy fixes. fiberglass is in pretty good shape overall. paint is peeling in several spots. engine and body #'s match and the engine does not smoke whatsoever! even if you let it sit for 2 months there isn't even a hint of smoke. engine fires right up, runs very strong, idles fine and runs cool. A/C is not charged but the system is complete. most everything works except the tach. brakes are good and tires have a lot of tread on them. Many parts have been replaced including many steering links, full exhaust, spare tire holder and some suspension components. car does not pull and drives down the road as it should with no bump steer. does not in any way feel unsafe. if you are planning a frame off restoration, you could drive this beast around until you acquired all of your parts to do so. Sold for $9,099 on February 6, 2017. |
