Here is a very rare opportunity to get yourself a very hard to find, and unique car. This car will get you some great looks wherever you go in it! Up for sale is a beautiful 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Of course there is no way to run an auto check or carfax history report on a 1975 model, so here is what we know about the car's history. The car's previous owner lived here in Texas, Houston to be exact. The car belonged to a collector, and enthusiast who had owned it since the mid 1990s (1994 I believe). The car was damaged in Hurricane Ike in 2008 when the collector's garage flooded from the rain (fresh water, not salt water!!). We acquired it from the insurance company. The damage was relatively light, but we did give it a mini-restoration and went through the entire car and replaced what was needed to make the car in tip top shape. The car had no rust but as a result of the water intrusion the car's electrical was shorted so we replaced the Dash Wiring Harness, Engine Wiring Harness, and the Starter Wiring Harness with assorted relays and fuses. Also replaced were the Power Steering Pump, Radiator, Speedometer Cables, Starter, Battery, Front Brakes, Front and Rear Wheel Bearings, Installed 4 Brand New BFGoodrich Tires, Bled Entire Braking System, Flushed all fluids (oil and transmission even though there was absolutely no evidence of water intrusion), and Repaired the vaccum system for the pop up headlights. No expense was spared, and the car is now in perfect working order and ready to be the jewel of your collection or your daily driver for many years to come! There really isn't any more we can do to ensure you get a good reliable car! The car was always kept in a rust free environment as the body has no rust at all on it! Due to the insurance history, the car does come with a rebult-salvage Texas title which is the same as a normal clean Texas title except for the notation on the front of the title "rebuilt salvage", "flood damage". If you haven't noticed by now on classic cars like this it's not so much the title history as it is the condition of the car itself. There are plenty of rusted out cars sitting on blocks in fields that have perfectly clean titles, but what are those going to get you besides a headache? Come see this car and you'll be impressed! The car has a very classic, and very nice color combination you'll just love to parade to everyone, Bright Blue on the outside with Black interior. The color really makes the car look incredible! There were not many Corvettes made in this color with only 2,869 Bright Blue cars out of a 1975 total production run of 38,465 and only 4,629 of them being convertibles. There's no telling how many Bright Blue convertibles were made, but you can rest assured it wasn't many! You'll fall in love with this hard to find color. The car's paint still shines beautifully. The body and undercarriage are rust free! The interior of the car is also in beautiful shape. The pictures really show it well! All the windows still work great. The locks still work perfectly! The car's original cassette stereo is still working great! The car did have factory a/c but it has since been bypassed. If you're looking to drive this car around with the top up anyway then you need to get your priorities straight! The heat does work great providing nice heat when called upon! If the looks of the car didn't already impress you, then getting behind the wheel and driving the car will take your breath away! This is where you really see how well this car has really been kept! The car still handles very nice. The Chevrolet wheels still look beautiful and are matched to a new set of BFGoodrich tires! They are brand new having less than 1,000 miles on the tires! The wheels look fantastic as you can see! The car's original 350 Cubic Inch, 165 horsepower V8 engine still runs great! The car has plenty of power and runs great even at highway speeds! You'll really enjoy driving this beauty! You'll love all the speed this classic V8 can provide. The automatic transmission still shifts just as it should. I noticed no flaws at all in the engine and transmission, everything works as it should. The engine starts up just fine and runs great, and looks to be up to the task if you decide to drive this one home yourself! No oddball problems here, no smoking, no signs of neglect. We didn't even note any electrical issues with the car. You'd expect that considering the main wiring harness was replaced and all the car's electrical completely gone over. All the lights and signals look are working just as they're supposed to! This one sure is cherry! We've never driven one of these Corvettes that runs and accelerates as good as this one. It really took some effort to keep this car's original V8 in this kind of condition! When you need to get this car stopped, the brakes will stop the car just as they're supposed to. You'll be very impressed with how nice this car is. In a world where all the Corvettes out there are either nearing the end of their life as a result of neglect its nice to have a car that you can sit back and enjoy for years to come! These cars, which are already a recognized collector item, will have value that will only increase over time. With the awareness of how special this car is going up, there will surely be less and less of these cars available over time. This car truly is a collector's item! With these cars disappearing from the earth slowly one car at a time, its safe to say this may be your last chance to get a quality, original Corvette that's this good! Not many Corvette owners are willing to part with their prized possession, especially when its a 1975 model Convertible! There just aren't any more cars like this out there! I believe that you will never again get the opportunity to purchase a 1975 model Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that's quite like this. There's no point in spending thousands of dollars doing a restoration when all you want is something to enjoy and drive. This is a car you can show to everyone, and enjoy it on the road! Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful car! This car is truly a beautiful Corvette, even fellow Corvette owners will be impressed by this car! You will not be disappointed! Don't settle for second best! Get the car you have always dreamed of owning! Don't let this wonderful opportunity pass you by!
