The 1971 Corvette showed little change from the previous year. Although rated at 330hp, down 40hp from 1970 due to lower octane requirements, the 1971 LT-1 was and still is an awesome car. Approximately 1,300 LT-1 coupes were produced in 1971.
The car, Steel Affairs is offering is done in Classic White with blue vinyl interior. Delivered to Emmert Chevrolet in Detroit this car is optioned with power brakes, 4- speed HD close ratio transmission, AM/FM pushbutton radio, the performance axle ratio and the 330hp Turbo-Fire 350ci V-8.
During the mid to late 90s much work was done to the car. Basically a frame-on restoration was completed. Some pictures and much documentation and receipts are included. This is not the original engine block to the car however, it is an original LT-1 car. Complete owner history except for 89-91. Own a legend sports car for far less than you think. Dealer. Stock # 1565. Trades/offers always considered. |
