| 1968 Corvette Big Block Convertible. 427 C.I. Tri-Power, 400 HP. Drop-dead gorgeous, all-matching numbers Stingray convertible, LeMans Blue with factory soft & hardtops in great over-all condition! Features Chevy’s rare and desirable 427 big block Tri-Power V8, factory rated at 400 HP, factory 4-speed transmission and Posi rear end. Original Holley 3x2 carbs with correct intake and exhaust manifolds. Original power steering, power brakes, smog equipment, transistor ignition system, telescoping steering column, rare radio delete, wheels & new Redline tires and spare, new battery. Recent tune-up. VIN number makes this an early (October) production unit for the 1968 model year. Except for the steering column hub assembly everything is 100% original and functional with all numbers matching and correct date codes! High quality re-paint to correct, original color (C23-975) spec. Underside is as clean as the topside! Telescoping steering column is fixed (forward) but drivable. Comes with many spare steering column re-build parts including extra turn signal & horn assembly (requires expert assembly as ’68 was an odd year for the telescoping steering column). Rear end seal leaks, otherwise no major issues. Great opportunity to acquire one of the most beautiful and iconic Corvettes of all time, one that can be driven, shown and enjoyed.
