This is a very good condition 1972 Corvette Coupe in the original colors of white with blue interior. The body is in very good condition, as is the chrome and interior. You can see by the pictures of the frame that it is also in really solid and excellent condition. This car has had a new radiator installed, the rear trailing arms and spindles redone, differential, brakes, and shocks redone, a new rear spring installed, the tranny rebuilt, a new gas tank installed, etc. It has the original motor, 3970010 case E192, with the assembly date stamp of V0523CXK 12S522619. It also has the original wiper motor (which works, and the headlights pop right up and the wiper door pops right up the way it is supposed to.) The wiper motor tag is 157 2 3A (157th day of 1972, 3rd shift). The trim tag is J31 build date with trim 412 (blue) and paint 972 (white). I included a picture where someone break into the car with a screwdriver, and left a chip in the paint and door. This car runs and drives great--probably could use a carb rebuild ultimately, but I wouldn't be hesitant to drive it a distance. It has power steering power brakes, non-working ac (but original compressor). I'm selling the car because I finally was able to buy a 62 Vette that I've been tracking since 1979, and don't have the room, time, or money for the 72. The body is very straight, as is all the rest of the car. It's a great driver car with really good originality as well. Colors from the trim plate. June 17, 2008. |
