06/28/2014 1981 Chevy Corvette Coupe, White, Red leather Interior. Original paint, 32 years old, couple scratches, and stress fractures from bumpy New England Roads. I am the Third Owner, and have had it since 2000. It really is a great car! I have had a hard time wanting to part with it, but I don't have the time for it, nor a garage for it. It has been stored in a commercial garage, and can not stay. The a/c does not run, it didn't work when I got it, I always took the tops off so I didn't need to fix it. The heat does work, never seen a winter, only driven in beautiful sunny weather. I replaced the glass tops, tight seal, plus Second set of vinyl ones for quick summer use. In the 14 years I've had it, I put less than 5,000 miles on it and the tires, Chrome rims. Original carpet has some sun fade to it, and a tear in the passenger side floor, floor mats cover it, sadly it happened when I took the mats out to clean the car. It can be glued, covered with the mats or replaced for fairly cheap. Power windows can be tempermental, power seat (driver), Power locks have not worked under my ownership, so you have to use the good old fashioned key. One light on panel stays on, not a safety issue, just needs to be fixed, was like that when I bought it. Engine runs great, super fast car for being unmodified! |
