Cars serial number is 194379S717436. The cars interior is exceptionally nice with no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks on the door panels or parking brake cover. No cracks in the dashpad or headliner. Seat foam is excellent, carpet very nice, dash face is very nice. Tilt and telesopic steering works smoothly and is tight. It does not wiggle or flop around like a worn tilt column does. Gauges all work, heater works, power windows work, headlight doors work, wipers work, monitoring lights in console work, exterior lighting works, dash lighting works. The cars exterior is finished in its original color. Car shows no evidence of ever having been in an accident. Hood surround is unbroken. Excellent body panel fit. Solid door closure, no rattles in window mechanism. No fender lip cracks or repairs. Windshield has no scratches or chips, chrome all around is nice. Paint has high gloss. Would say it is very presentable for an attractive street driving car. No paint chips or scratch damage that is worth mentioning. Engine runs perfect, starts quickly, runs smoothly, carries good oil pressure, does not leak, smoke or overheat. Engine compartment has the correct patina and appears to be mainly all original stock. Has ignition shielding, GM chrome valve covers and air cleaner, Winters cast intake manifold, etc. Turbo 400 automatic transmission works perfectly. No driveline noises. Brakes work fine. Car has recent exhaust system. Car handles and drives very nice. Steering box is tight, no steering slop. Has good tires. No rust on windshield pillar posts. Frame rails have no rust and are very solid. The only rust is on the nose crossmember under the radiator where a hole has formed. Nothing huge, and does not impose a strength problem. This nose crossmember is replaceable, simply bolts on with 4 bolts as can be seen in the pictures. Under seat heat insulation and its shields are still there as can be seen in the pictures. Transmission tunnel heat insullation is still there. Spare carrier is on car. Overall this is a very nice Corvette that could be shown in local style outdoor club shows with pride. Car gets compliments everywhere it goes. I have been driving this car personally through last summer. It's a very enjoyable car, or I would not be driving it myself. A Corvette you can truly enjoy. Please keep in mind that this collector car is almost 40 years old! Yet it is as perfect as you could get and still drive and enjoy daily! 113,000 miles. March 25, 2008.
