WOW -- you just don't see original 79 L-82/4 speed cars like this anymore! Originally assembled on November 28, 1978 and showing just 27,335 original miles, this 1979 Corvette L-82 is well optioned, very original, and of course comes with the most desirable powertrain combination for this year. This cars paint is showing signs of age, but still has a nice shine. Taillights, exterior door handles, and weatherstripping all appear to be older or original. Rally wheels are in good condition with good-vg center caps, and wear a set of BF Goodrich raised white letter tires, which show an average of 10/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 9/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1979 Corvette L-82 looks to be nearly all original, and shows good-vg seat covers, vg carpet, and a good steering wheel, dash, and center console. GM seatbelts are present, along with a correct appearing AM/FM radio. The only addition to this car appears to be a set of wood lock knobs. T-top strap is in place. The numbers matching engine in this 1979 Corvette L-82 shows original casting date October 24, 1978, and final assembly date October 25, 1978. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, valve covers, ignition shielding, alternator, air pump, radiator hoses, and a/c compressor are all in place.
