1) Selling my 68 corvette, need room in my shop, and also because I have a bad leg and its just too difficult for me to get in and out of to enjoy her like she should be enjoyed. The listing title says 402, but that's not the engine, that's the trim code for standard black vinyl leather effect interior, and the ebay listing won't let me change the title, so I offer my apologies. She is a turnkey car you jump in hit the gas turn the key she starts right up and you can drive her anywhere. Take off the T-Tops and cruise in Class and Style. Originally a 327 car, the original owner home I bought it from swapped out the 327 for his 350 four-barrel from his 1970 Chevelle. Have replaced all of the brakes there are new mufflers and tailpipes on her and the exhaust is solid, she has a new four row radiator also. The odometer reads 24800 miles and change. She has good oil pressure and all the gauges work and the for Speed shifts very nicely. The only original equipment that is missing (besides engine) is the air conditioning compressor but it does have Factory air conditioning. While inspecting under the car the rear sway bar and bushings have been replaced within the last several years before I picked it up, and the rest of the suspension is in good condition. The wheels and tires are in very very good condition as well. If you take note of the picture of the rear deck it has never been drilled for a luggage rack it is absolutely virgin. And I can text or e-mail any specific photos you may need to see in order to provide you with confidence that this is the real Mccoy. The paint has a few flaws and some touch-ups done to it but optimally it would need new paint in order to not be a 10-footer but she looks fantastic as she's moving, and sounds awesome just like a Corvette should. I hope that there are good solid bids and not a bunch of Tire kickers because unfortunately this car needs to go. Hop in and drive anywhere in style in 4 Speed Style. Sold for $10,000 on July 18, 2017. |
