GM only built 240 LT-1's with A/C and this is one of them. What makes this car extremely rare is that it was ordered with all the factory options. It may be a one off car when you factor in all of the options?! The original owner knew just how rare it was and drove it only 60k miles from new. The car is also an Unrestored Survivor in every sense of the word. Original paint, Interior, engine bay and underside. Stored in a climate controlled environment, the car is an outstanding original example. This car would be awarded at Bloomington Gold or a NCRS Show.
Options from new and Documented on the Tank Sticker include: LT-1 350 Performance engine, Factory Air Conditioning, M-21 4-Speed Transmission, Posi-traction rear end, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Vanity light, Deluxe Black leather interior with wood accents, Tilt and Telescopic Steering, Factory floor mats, Original Rally wheels.
This is a highly documented LT-1 as well. The car has the complete owners history showing all ownership transfers from new. The car was sold new at Luby Chevrolet in Miami, Florida. This special LT-1 is in remarkable original condition. A test drive will reveal a corvette that runs and drives as it did when new. The headlights go up and down, All gauges are operating correctly. Even the clock is still running and keeping good time! Power windows go up and down quickly. The gauges are crisp. The leather interior is smooth and supple. The original carpets still have a sparkle to them The dash pad is flawless. The radio plays well. Upon opening the hood, you would believe it was previously restored but it is in fact all original. This car has the born with drivetrain that looks untouched. Vin number and date codes are on the drivetrain. The underside has never had a spray can to it. The exhaust is still the original system and sounds good. This car is as original as it gets. Trim tag date does not match the VIN. No longer available on November 9, 2017. |
