The drivetrain is completely the orig from day one! This was a LATE 1968 car. Meaning, the assembly line was already tooling up for the 69 model year.. In fact, what you see in the pix are exactly what was installed on the car originally.. Including the valve covers w/ drippers.. Orig spare rim is dated K 16 6 10 AG with red side wall f70x15. What is missing is the emmission equipment and off road exhaust. Production date 8/7/68 and was sold from Nischan-Spalding Chevrolet Inc in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The car has 4 year base coat / clear coat safari yellow paint on a never hit body with freshened up interior. Options include: L79, M21, 370 R, tinted windows, shoulder belts, factory audio alarm system (working), AM/FM radio, PO2 wheel trim covers, gold sidewall radial tires.(originally came with redline tires). Car runs great and looks great. Everything works ! Even the door ajar and wiper door warning indicators, headlights, wiper door, Audio Alarm system, reverse lights, all fiber optics.. The original equipment spring ring battery cables are still in car along with shoulderbelts, lap belts, am/fm (still works w/speakers newly replaced) and the goldline radials finish the appearance. Brakes have been transitioned to silicon Dot 3. No leaks.. Car has hooker header side pipes.. (sounds and runs exceptional.. but not my choice). Color codes from the trim plate.
