Car history:
Car is in immaculate condition inside and outside. Has beautiful silver exterior and like new interior (dash, guages, vinyl, ect.). Has strong running 350 cubic inch engine in extremely good condition. Not much wear. As Chevrolet service manager complimented saying "Everything is tight." Car comes under the High Retail category in the NADA Classic Car Book. There are 56,000 original miles on car, engine, transmission, and body (except for a few parts that have been replaced). Car has factory engine mark. Car is very original including paint. There are repairs and improvements that were made like the following: heater core, alternator, valve stem seals, new A/C (complete system),tune-ups, radiator, brakes, tires, speedometer and tachometer restored by Eckler's, 2 vacuum actuator relays to correct headlamp operation, carburetor gasket, driver's seat repair and just a few others. I am the third owner. The 1st owner converted the exhaust to a dual exhaust system (I guess because he liked it better). I have the original stock muffler system (includes pipes and muffler in excellent condition ). The second owner had the original tires (which I saw myself). He bought it from the first owner only about a year and a half earlier. Car has some extras like hard plastic sunglass roof that is interchangeable with the T-Tops. Also covers for the T-Tops . I have service maintenance/repair records. Also oil and filters have been changed every 3,000 miles. Car is clean and dry underneath says mechanic at Tire Kingdom (locally). Features also include tilt-telescopic steering wheel, rear window defroster, and alarm system (all systems operational). This 1979 vintage Corvette is a great investment and actually the NADA Classic Car Value is well over $37,000 according to the insurance company that sent me an email saying so. According to an appraisal I had done, it's class ab. This Corvette is a trophy winner and according to the appraisal: "will win almost every time in a national car show and every time in a local car show". The only thing it needs is the Driver's seat repaired again but is drivable when the seat is all the way back. They aren't making this car anymore and I seriously doubt you'll find many more (if any), in this condition. Also the Ebay guy that did the "dealing" (attemted to sell it for me) three years ago told me over the phone after looking at some pictures of it then, the value of my (this) Corvette would go up $2500.00 a year and he said that's a conservative figure.
