Sold for $7,500 on July 29, 2010. August 2, 2010.
Here is a very solid 68 Corvette coupe. Obviously it was bumped in the front. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT WITH NO VISIBLE FRAME DAMAGE! It has an all original numbers matching car. This means the motor - transmission and differential are the original parts the car was born with. Motor is the correct 327/350 horsepower small block looks to have the correct intake and carb. The heads are original. The transmission is a numbers matching m-21 4-speed that shifts perfectly. The brakes are great and all calipers have been recently replaced. The car was not originally a sidepipe car, but god they sound so nice and Corvette like. The car is originally Ontario Orange and has been painted Black. Please check the body damage on the front. It really looks like someone backed into it. It is hurt but repaiable without replacing the front clip. The hood still is aligned at the rear and door gaps are good. Speaking of the doors, they open and close like a newer car with no rattles! All of the glass is original date coded including the windshield. There is still a California smog sticker from the early 70's on the windshield. Frame looks to be rock solid with no rust issues. Please take a good look at the undercar pictures. It really is that nice!
Other info:1. no rear bumpers (the brackets are all there), 2. no side pipe covers, 3.New radial t/a tires with new caps and beauty rings. 4.it is a power window car and they do work. 5. needs a carpet kit but the seats and door panels are very nice. 6.Has an aftermarket stereo. 7.replacement headlight included. 8.has headers and sidepipes 8.has a super cool chrome rollbar. $8,500. Color codes from the trim plate. July 15, 2010.
