1) Offered for sale here is a wrecked 1972 Corvette with minor front right damage. Car runs, yard drives, steers, and stops with no issues. When car was running, all rear lights and front lh corner light worked. Does not idle well, bogs down. Body damage is limited to the right front, and it is minor as you can see. Black vinyl interior is very nice with good carpet, excellent dash, tilt column, good seats, t top liners, etc. Tires are new looking, probably on for a very short time prior to the wreck. Rally wheels are nice with all caps and rings in very nice condition. Paint is poor. Body and frame are excellent, excluding the right front fender area. All glass is good. Hood, front bumper, and grills were gone when purchased, and are not available. LH door damaged, but is here. Have another solid lh door shell to go with this sale. Rear bumpers are solid; minor pitting. Exhaust is excellent front to back. RH door opens, but only from inside. Looks like trans pan gasket needs replaced; there is a spot on floor on lh side of pan. The following work appears to have been done just prior to the wreck: New actuator for wiper door, new master cylinder, and a tune up. Ohio salvage title in my name. No bid at starting $6,450 on October 19, 2017. |
