Coupe 4 speed with an original 350 HP 327 CU small block. Car was inspected in June. Many new parts have been put on this car such as tires, rally rims, calipers, half shaft u-joints, power window motors, flex fan, water pump, timing cover, Edelbrock dual roller timing chain, Edelbrock performer RPM cam, Edelbrock push rods, Edelbrock hydraulic lifters, rolling tip rockers, Edelbrock performer RPM manifold, Edelbrock performer RPM carburetor, Holley fuel pump, inline fuel filter, distributor, battery, and both power window motors. The reason that the cam work was done was because the 1970 LT1 cam was installed with solid lifters. These can be a pain to adjust constantly so a new cam was installed with hydraulic lifters. A compression test was done on all 8 cylinders with every spark plug out on a cold motor and came out great. The body is in good shape, only a few stress cracks by the door jams. There is no rust on the bird cage or frame. The car was sitting for the last ten years until I brought it back to life this summer. The engine bay and frame have all been painted, preventing it from rusting. It currently has Daytona healights in the car, but with the sale of the car will come corvette headlights with vacuum actuators, doors, brackets, and lights. They will need to be painted. Tach and coolant temp sensor do not work. Car was originally Lemans Blue. Car is also listed locally. Car has 120,000 miles. Color codes from the owner. Built date is I10. August 19, 2010. |
