| 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in triple black and is powered by a GM big-block V8 engine with a triple carburetor mated to a 4-speed manual with a Muncie close-ratio transmission. A comprehensive restoration was performed. This car was optioned with power steering, power windows and AM/FM radio, and comes with the optional hardtop. Other features include an upgraded L88 hood. Retains its original VIN plate and Tuxedo Black Trim Tag, certified as genuine by an NCRS judge. Has had the same owner from Michigan for over 30 years. Only 708 Tuxedo Black cars were produced out of 28,566 in 1968. |
