Car history:
1) I am selling a beautiful 1970 Corvette Stingray. It's a wonderful chrome-bumper collector car that you can get in and enjoy while the value keeps going up. Still has the original engine, transmission, rear. All the number match and it runs great! Turn the key and it starts right up every time, idles smooth, runs, drives and stops like a Corvette should. The engine is the 350ci V8 with 11:1 compression, 350 hp and 380 ft/lbs. The exhaust sounds great and it has plenty of power. The body is in nice shape and the black paint shines beautifully showing minor wear from age and use. The chrome is in very good shape as well. The car shows very nicely and attracts plenty of attention just from its looks alone. The original saddle interior looks great against the black exterior. It is in good shape yet does show wear from its age and normal use over the years. Drivers seat has a split seam. All of the lights, signals, gauges, wipers work as they should. The headlights go up and down smoothly under their own power as does the wiper door (can be seen in the video). It has plenty of desirable options like factory Air Conditioning (needs a charge), 4 speed manual transmission, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power steering, over the shoulder seatbelts option. It's fun to drive and feels like a convertible with the t-tops and the pop-out rear window (has tint film applied to keep the interior cooler but can be peeled off). All of the original straps and bags for storing the t-tops as well as the shelf and bag for storing the pop-out rear window are all there in good working order. Overall, it is a great addition to any collection and most importantly a blast to drive. Not a museum or show car, but something you can enjoy and still have the perks of a numbers matching collector car.
Here is a short video showing the engine start up, lights and wiper door working, and a quick walk around. Sold for $18,300 on June 25, 2017. Sold for $17,422 on July 16, 2017.
