| 2) These are becoming a rare car to find 1970 Corvette Convertible C3, it's a one owner with 30504 actual miles, numbers matching engine. It was repainted a few years ago with the correct paint code color although the door jams and under hood are original. There is a photo to show where the paint it peeling from under the hood. The car runs and drives great for a 1970 model with 30504 miles. It had correct factory replacement carpet and a new top put on a couple of years ago. The car never has seen rain and is stored in a climate controlled garage with a custom corvette cover. The only thing that is not correct on this car is the radio which was changed so that it would have better reception. The tires are new with less then a few hundred miles on them. The car does not have tilt-tele wheel, and air conditioning those are the only two options that it doesn't have. There is a mistake on title of this car, it has listed 407 and i can not edit that. The 407 reference that is listed on the title was the trim tag number. it was put into the listing and eBay doesn't allow the editing of the title. There was a question about this, that is why it's there. Also I forgot to mention that the spare tire cover is missing, it was taken off and was never put back on. We can't find it. Just to clear up. there is nothing wrong with the title or the car. The reference on this eBay auction title has a 407 this was a mistake that I made when listing this auction. The title of the car does not reference 407. This is only in reference to this auctions title page. BiN $16,800 (Ended) on May 2, 2017. 1) 1970 corvette convertible been in same family since 73 has matching 300 hp 350 with vin stamped on block. Has good solid frame. Paint is a older paint job that looks good at 10 feet. I drove it 50 miles yesterday and it done good. You could drive the car like it is. Or turn it in to a high end car through minor restoration. The block date is L 9 and heads are k 9 which stands for 12/1969 & 11/1969. good nice original car. It was owned by an older man since 73. He tinkered with it here and there. I do not know if it is 30,000 actual miles or if it is 130,000. I'm currently looking into that. Non A/C. It doesn't smoke, the wiper door does work correctly. Missing original radio, alt, & starter. To make it a very nice car it just needs to be disassembled, cleaned up & painted. It did leak a little spot of trans fluid while sitting. The convertible top was replaced in 1983 and still looks brand new. The oil was changed this weekend & I drove the car around 50 miles Saturday with no problems at all. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is A05. Sold at $16,100. March 28, 2016. |
