Car history: |
LOADED FROM THE FACTORY THIS 1972 CORVETTE HAS JUST RECENTLY ENJOYED A NEW LEASE ON LIFE. WITH NEW PAINT, NEW INTERIOR, NEW CHROME, NEW CROSS FLAGS , NEW WEATHERSTRIP, NEW TIRES, REBUILT NUMBERS MATCHING MOTOR, TILT-TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN, AIR CONDITIONING, AUTOMATIC, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES AND OF COURSE COMES STANDARD WITH REMOVABLE REAR WINDOW AND T-TOPS. EXTERIOR: The body looks straight and the paint is new. As you can see in the pictures the headlights and the hood line up great with the rest of the body. The car is from the Southern United States and her chassis looks the better for it. In our opinion the front end has never been in any moderate or major accident. The headlights are functional as are the wipers. The front and rear bumpers have just been replated and most if not all of the weather strip is new. The tires have about fifty miles on them and are mounted on the cars original looking rally wheels. The front cross flag emblem is new as the rear Corvette letters appear to be new as well. INTERIOR: The interior is almost all new. New seat covers, door panels and carpet look beautiful. No other conspicuous blemishes strike apparent. The original radio is in place but will need new speakers at the least. The gauges work save the clock. The tilt-telescopic steering column works great and she still retains her original steering wheel. The rear compartment doors are functional but no longer work like new. The car is a joy to sit in and drive. MECHANICS: The original rebuilt NUMBERS MATCHING motor remains in place and the car runs out and drives mated with the three-speed automatic transmission. The motor compartment looks great and all of the A/C equipment remains in place. The brakes have been redone with stainless steel sleeved calipers. The exhaust has also been replaced at some point in the recent past as well. The bushings in the front and rear look fine. She wont snap your neck but she may put you back in your seat if you give her a chance. January 12, 2008. |
