Car history: |
1) Selling 2 1968 convertible Corvettes. This car on the trailer we spent an entire day pulling out of a garage that the car was stored in for over 30 plus years. Sometime in the 80s the owner started working on the car. He didn't make it very far and stopped. All the parts that were removed from the car were stolen over the years. The house sat empty for many years so the parts all disappeared. There is no title for this car. The owner had moved to Florida years ago and just left the car behind. You will get a bill of sale for this one. This car has no rot. A lot of surface rust from sitting in the garage all those years but the frame is solid. There is no convertible top with this car just the removable hardtop. The body has had rear fender flares added and the body work needs finished. Pretty solid car just filthy dirty. The car is an automatic and does not have the original engine. It is an early block but the numbers do not match. Sold with 68 Corvette VIN 7239 for $7,000 on April 2, 2017. |
