Up for sale is a beautiful, fully restored 1982 Chevrolet CORVETTE. This car was not a complete frame off resto but very close. The car was built with the intention of keeping it forever but things change so here's your chance to own the 1982 Corvette that is possibly better than the one Chevy did in 1982. A practically new 30 year old classic 'Vette with 175 more horsepower than stock. Last year for the C3 'Vette. I have the starting price invested in it as you will see from the list below. More pictures and info upon request. The "what's not new" list would be much shorter but here it goes: Car was stripped down of everything short of removing the body from frame. Frame wire wheeled and painted. Wheelwells Herculined. Crate motor GM Engine # 12496968 330HP/380 ft/lbs torque. It has a thinner head gasket to take it to 10:1 compression, a little more cam, and an Edelbrock 750 carb. Rumbles nicely. Estimated HP now is 375 HP. Hasn't been to the track but mid to high 13 second ETs is a very conservative estimate...on street tires. Has a NEW 1-pc Smoke Astrotop. Also has the original t-tops, painted to match. They still need weatherstrip and the original hardware re-installed. Original aluminum Corvette wheels. Sanded thru every grit and polished, and polished, and polished. New center caps and lug nuts. New headlight actuators and vacuum hoses. Headlights pop right up as they should. New shiny smooth, professionally done black paint job. Body lines are very straight, doors are tight. Everything lines up very well. All NEW GM emblems. New front air dam. New power window motors, windows go up and down smooth and quickly. Original 700R4 tranny hits all the gears perfectly. Comes out of the hole quickly and cruises on the interstate at 2500RPM @ 75MPH. Not bad on gas at all. Drive it around town (stays cool) or across the country. New Shocks around. Original Posi rear end corners smoothly with no issues...new posi fluid. Power steering smooth. 4 wheel disc brakes stop on a dime. New brake lines, calipers and pads. New starter. Smog removed. Factory stock headers, original front y-pipe in great condition, NEW cat-converter and new Dynomax Corvette cat-back exaust with welded SS tips. Quiet at idle and roars when the secondaries come in. A/C is not belt driven but could be. Just needs a new compressor and charged. New fuel pump, sending unit, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pressure gage. 6 psi constant. New Sony 52W X 4 radio/CD w/remote, antenna, and Sony Explode 3-way speakers in back and Pioneer 3-way speakers in front. Speaker grills are all stock in appearance. New ACC carpet and Corvette floor mats. Has all new heat shield sound deadening underlayment in floors and doors....done right. New Dash cover New Rear battery and storage compartment with new battery. Also have factory jack and lug wrench. NEW 100% LEATHER SEATS w/new seat foam. $875.00 worth. New wood grain kit. All gage clear plastic is polished to new appearance. Factory analog clock keeps perfect time. All interior panels were stripped and dyed to original Charcoal color. New Charcoal leather wrapped steering wheel. New Corvette brushed aluminum entry rocker guards. HVAC is fully functional with good heat and defrost. Recoil rear compartment cover is in good shape and fully functionable. New fuses, flash units, curtiousy lights. Everything works. Polished aluminum exterior rocker covers. New Chrome side vents.
