Car history: |
Here is a 1968 corvette convertible from California. I don't know much about this car but I got it from a guy in Washington and it is titled in California. Appears recent paint was applied, average job that looks good from ten feet. I did an inspection and can say there is no rust anywhere on this car however, it appears at some pont it was involved in a front end collision. I say this because I noticed reinforcement plates on the front portion of the frame....could be for some other reason but just guessing. I took the car to a local shop and it aligned out with no problems so the frame seems to be fine. The 350 (not sure if original) runs very well but needs carb work. The tranny shifts fine, brakes work but due to carb issues, would recommend trailering. Overall a clean car but like most 40 year old cars, it needs attention. No power steering or A/C and guages are not hooked up. IT NEEDS: Carb work, Door / convert deck lid alignment, Interior, Rebuild steering box. January 3, 2009. |
