1980 Corvette Fantastic Condition Low Miles. This is a two owner 1980 Chevrolet Corvette that I bought from the original owner in 1986. I have owned this vehicle for 24 years and have always babied it. It has been garage kept for it's entire life by non-smoking car enthusiast. This is a great Corvette in great condition but now it must go to a new home. This vehicle has the high performance 350ci V8 L82, auto transmission, power windows, power locks, removable t-tops, AM/FM cassette stereo, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, rear defrost, cruise control, t-top storage covers, and the original owners manual. The mileage on the vehicle is just under 66k and is correct. This is an unmolested numbers matching vehicle. Mechanically it all runs correctly and needs nothing to be completely enjoyed. All gages are working except the voltmeter. The original radio does work, but is starting to crackle and could be refurbished. The AC does work and cools the air, but I would not say it blows cold. The AC has not been serviced for about 15 years so it likely just needs to be recharged. Power windows work great, lights go up and down, and unlike a lot of these old Corvettes the sun visors to do not flop down when you hit a bump. The power antenna does not go up and down, but it has been that way since I got in '86. Tires have a good amount of tread left, but they are 15 years old. For all but the past 5 years this car was driven regularly on weekends and special events. For the past 5 it has been mostly in storage and driven very little. I do start it up and take it for short drives every month to keep it running well. Cosmetically this car is beautiful to look at. There are a few minor imperfections in the paint, but they would have to be pointed out to be noticed. The original interior is is good shape for a 30 year old vehicle, but the seats show wear and there is a small tear in the driver seat backrest as shown in the pictures. This vehicle was repainted in 1996 with the original silver color because the factory paint job was fading as many of them did from the 80s.
