| 1972 Chevrolet Corvette in poor condition. Was running when parked in 2000 (Thats when the inspection sticker ran out). This is an automatic but was originally a 4 speed (Clutch pedal has been pushed under the carpet). The wind shield has a crack & it leaked rotting the carpet & rusting the seat belts. Needs new weather strips. It was wrecked in the past & one of the rear fenders was replaced with a non original that is black underneath. This car is basically complete & needs restoration. The engine is original with matching numbers. VIN # 1Z37K2S514493. Motor numbers from the passenger side front pad - 123514493 VO209CKW - (CKW means 200HP 4 speed), Motor casting number from the driver side rear pad GM 3970010. It is the base model 350 CI engine & it ran great on regular octane gas. Has headers & Edelbrock aluminum intake with Holley carb. Deluxe interior with leather seats. Painted white now but original color was orange. Needs new paint. Has tilt - telescope steering wheel, T-Tops & removable rear window (nice!). No AC. Under the hood some weird stuff is going on because of the change from a 4 speed to automatic. This is a excellent place to start your project car. This car has many other defects not mentioned. It is showing 96,612 original miles but the speedo is broken. The title from 1990 when it was purchased shows 95,341. The mileage is near correct as this has always been an extra car for me & I drove it very little when it ran. I had the fuel tank replaced in 1996. The title is clear - it has never had a lien on it. I have some parts for it - bell housing, shifter, intake manifold, etc (These parts were given to me when I bought the car I can not vouch for their origin but I believe most are from this car when it got changed to an automatic or were replacement parts that never got installed).
