Up for sale we have a 1973 Corvette L82 Engine. As the pictures will attest, its pretty much complete. I purchased this engine from a salvage yard in Arizona a few years ago with the intent of using it on a project car that I had in mind. Since I have way too many things on the go right now and don't see another project in the foreseeable future, I thought I would offer it up for sale here on Ebay. The engine was removed from a 1973 corvette that sustained front end damage in an accident. According to the salvage yard, the engine was running fine without any problems. Pictures provided to me by the salvage yard of the engine still in the car are attached. I can't recall the exact mileage that the car had on it when the engine was pulled but I believe it was 72,000 or so. If I find my purchase documentation I'll post the correct mileage. My understanding is that the car was parted out. Other than attempting to remove the exhaust, and some of the brackets, I have not opened up the engine. So I cannot speak for the internals. The double pyramid heads are there as are the correct intake and exhaust manifolds. I checked the numbers on the Carb and it appears that the carb was replaced at some point. The numbers are not correct for an L82 with Automatic. Note: one of the exhaust manifold bolts has a broken head - so I could not remove the passenger side exhaust manifold. It will probably need some heat to get it off. The ring gear is also included in the sale. If you should have any questions, please ask away ...... thanks for looking.
