Car history:
THIS IS A GREAT LOOKING 1971 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY THAT HAS
THE MATCHING NUMBERS 350CI V8 AND 83K ORIGINAL MILES. TURN-KEY AND A
GREAT CAR TO DRIVE ANYWHERE!

My husband and I purchased it in Long Island, NY a couple of years ago. We always
wanted a steel bumper Stingray that was all stock, we were lucky enough to find
this very original Matching Numbers car with 83K original miles. Once we got it
back to our garage, we garaged it and did very minor things to it so we could use
it any time we wanted. Recently we put NEW tires, NEW chambered exhaust, NEW
tune-up, NEW brakes, and NEW front end parts.

Mechanically the original 350ci/270hp V8 in it fires right up and sounds great.
Transmission is also the original automatic and shifts great. Now as for driving the
car, I've taken it out mostly around the neighborhood here and there for a few
functions, and sometimes we take it to the Island for a cruise. Brakes work well.
Steers nice with some play in the wheel. When we purchased it, we drove it 75
miles without skipping a beat and have taken it out once a month for out of state
trips. Overall very sound and reliable car that can be used daily if desired.

Motor is the factory MATCHING NUMBERS 350 V8 that is all stock except for the
added headers and some maintenance service parts replaced. It has been serviced
regularly and driven on occasion throughout the last decade. Very healthy overall.
Transmission shifts great. Electricals seem to be working fine INCLUDING headlights
and wiper cover. This is a car I would trust to drive home anywhere as I have
personally driven it several times throughout the year.

Interior was redone a few years ago. Door panels are good with minor wear on
driver's side armrest. Carpet is newer. Dash pad is newer. Steering wheel is
obviously not stock but presentable. Seats were reupholstered and look great.
Console is very presentable. Inner passenger side t-top panel cover needs new clips.
Overall a very presentable driver quality interior.

Underside is very nice and dry overall, with barely a hint of surface rust from regular
use but NO major eye sores that I was able to see. GOOD solid frame overall with
good floorboards (no holes or major rot anywhere). Birdcage appears to be in very
good shape overall and windshield pillars are very much intact without any rust.

Paint is overall GOOD to VERY GOOD and cleans up very well with various imperfections
but overall shine is NICE (has some large chips that were touched up on front nose
and by passenger side door handle among other areas, some door by driver's door
edge, and normal spider webbing here and there in the usual Corvette spots like
near headlights and top of fenders, as well as a few tiny bubbles on edges of t-tops.
Driver's outer door handle needs replacing (or new spring as it does not open from
outside). Not working: wipers (wiper door works fine, but wipers not coming out),
a/c could use recharge/service but is all there and connected. There are various
other small issues with it, as with any other old car, and I'm not gonna sit here and
list them all as it would be no point. So overall she is nowhere near perfect and will
need some form of TLC depending on how nice you want it to be and what you plan
to do with the car.

If you just want a VERY NICE MOSTLY ORIGINAL DRIVER needing some minor tlc,
this is the car for you.
