2) 1968 Black on Black Conv. Trim Tag Numbers: G07 TRIM 425 PAINT 992. Corvette Bronze with Dark Orange vinyl interior originally...6500 RPM tach and the hood emblems would indicate that it was originally a big block car, but I have no proof of such. 136,000 miles (best estimate). Rebuilt 350 (321.6 hp at the wheels). Hooker side pipes (LOUD). T5 5spd manual transmission. full VBP suspension. American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels. Kuhmo MX tires. New Viynl Top. New brake pads all around. New master cylinder. New 13" Grant wood steering wheel. New door panels. New carpet. New seat frames/foam/covers. New MP3/CD player. New kick panel/rear speakers. all instruments/lights work with exception of water temp. I've driven the car about 6000 miles in the past year including a trip from Deleware to Texas and Texas to Florida. Car is extremely reliable and has had ZERO mechanical problems in the 18 months I've owned it. The few problems: Very small leak from driveshaft input to the rear diff. I top it off every time I change the oil and its still 3/4s full, Small leak from oil drain plug in oil pan. A few drops are under the car every morning...typical 41 year old car stuff. The fiberglass on the passenger side front corner where the fender rolls into the engine bay is splintered and needs to be repaired...i looked into having it repaired and it will actually be cheaper to purchase the entire front clip from Mid America for $1,290 part #600-948 and having it painted once on the car. The rest of the paint is fairly good. It's an extremely good looking 5 foot car, even with the 5 inch damage to the fiberglass on the fender/hood seam. 136,000 miles. Colors codes from the trim plate. Built date is G07. September 23, 2009. 1) 1968 corvette restomod convertible 350 five speed tremec transmission (numbers dont match).Car is driver quality car. Paint looks good from 10 feet away but car should be painted to make it a show quality. Small area near hood where fiberglass seperated (shown in pics). In the following description when I say new i mean it was installed 8 months ago and driven for 3000+ miles. New parts now look dirty with some surface rust. Car would be excellent for someone to disassemble, detail with paint and put back together for a killer show car.
