Car history: |
I recently traded this car in from my neighbor a few weeks back. He wanted my BANDIT car more than this one apparently. He purchased this car about a year ago and said he's just scared to take it anywhere that it could nicked or bumped into. He paid over $14,000 just to have the car and then spent a little money doing all the chrome add ons. I do have all the original parts to replace the chrome ones with.
This car has been completely gone throughou. The front end was redone, bushings, ball joints, tie rods whatever it needed. The interior is completely redone in the original colors and Ecklers is the company where all the interior came. Everything in this car works as it should even the clock and A/C. The body is probably the straightest that I've ever seen on this body style Corvette. There is not one imperfection on any panel of this car. The paint was redone in a base clear job and it's apparent the cars body parts were painted then reassembled. I can't tell you what was done to the motor before my buddy got it. He was told by the previous owner that it was left stock but whatever it needed to be a daily driver was taken care of when the restoration was complete.
Now I say restoration a little loosely because the cars frame probably wasn't removed and the transmission probably didn't come out. But every nook and cranny that could be refurbished was. It looks like someone didn't feel like money was an option and they let the bodyshop or whomever did the work do as they wanted to make the car correct. It actually comes with lot's of new parts in the box, emblems, screws, stripping, all sorts of stuff.
Also the car comes with the original t-top bags .. The car also has a very low tone Flowmaster exhaust that is a true dual exhaust system.. The car has the original radio aside from the cd player that has been installed ..The cd player is a direct fit and nothing was hacked up to make it fit...It's a very nice install..
Anyone who wants pictures of undercarriage need to send me their email address and I can send them .. Just specify what photos are important to you thanks Chris.
Also the ac has been converted to 134..
I can write for hours but just know that this car cranks runs and shifts out as it should without any issues and would be reliable transportation for someone or a trailer queen for car shows. It's that nice..
