VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Get ready for Summer with this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. This is not a perfect car, so please read the description and look at the pictures carefully. This is a nice straight car, but needs some time, energy and money to put it together. You have a nice solid foundation to start with. You can leave this car as is and drive it or restore it and show it. Your choice!! Good Luck!! SPECIFICATIONS: 5.7 liter V-8, front engine rear wheel drive, 4 speed manual. FEATURES: Power windows, power locks, leather interior, after market AM/FM/CD stereo, Edelbrock intake, carb and air cleaner. VEHICLE CONDTION: INTERIOR: The interior is clean. The seats are firm and comfortable. The seats are ripped and need to be recovered. The power windows work, but need to be guided up manually. The power locks are not working. EXTERIOR: The car from 20 feet looks good, but up close the tops are checked. There are no cracks in the glass, There are several small chips in the paint. To make this car 100%, you are going to need to repaint it. EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should, except the oil pressure guage works fine when cold, but then pegs at 90psi. The clock dos not work. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. The headlights go up slow. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine starts easily, idles normally, accelerates nicely and has no unusual noises or vibrations. The transmission operates smoothly with no problems evident. TIRES: The matched tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal.
