PROJECT1968 CORVETTE L-71 CONVERTIBLE. NO TANK STICKER. Was originally international blue with dark blue vinyl. Original motor gone, now small block. Comes with original big block hood with minor repairable damage. Has original Muncie H/D transmission with vehicle serial number stamped as it should be. Has original dated rear end with correct FA code. Has original ignition amplifier. Has original unmolested big block radiator/cooling configuration. Has original rear sway bar. Has original cast iron caps at 3rd member. Has original HIGH RPM Tach. Frame and Bird Cage appear straight with minimal surface rust. Has 2 complete, original rust free doors. Original soft top frame is in very good condition. Items missing and not included are original 427 engine, all headlight parts, radio, front bumper, and shifter. Car is located on the west side of Houston, Texas. Available at extra cost are a (still in crate) correct jig assembled front end and a restored correct (but not original) dated tri-power manifold/carb set up. |
