|Original, survivor LS-5 Corvette T-Top, with just over 77,000 original miles. It is factory Daytona yellow, with black interior. It is a matching-numbers 454 car, with T-400 transmission, limited slip rear end. The engine has never been out of the car. I am the third owner of the car, it has been in local area since new. Options include power brakes, manual steering, AM/FM radio, headlight washers, power windows. The car is driver quality, condition is commensurate with its age, it has always been stored indoors. As far as I can tell, it is 100% original. The windshield is PPG, I can find no evidence of aftermarket sealant. It has one small bullseye in the lower right hand corner. Side windows have original factory logo Astro Ventilation. Panel fit and gaps are good, there is no body damage other than about a 5 crack on the right fender leading edge, which extends down to the clearance light, and some pieces missing from the front valance (parking bumpers). The gap between the grill and valance on the outside is larger than normal, there is some indication of fiberglass repair on the valance. Other than that, the body is near perfect, with only rock chips. The car was painted light metallic blue early in its life, to match the first owners motorcycle trailer: the trailer hitch is still on the car. It was re-painted correct Daytona yellow, probably in the 90's, there are tiny areas (i.e. inside grilles) were the blue can be seen. The front bumper is excellent, rear bumpers have tiny rust pits. The frame is perfect, no repairs, structural rust or scale. The interior is original, the dash and speedo/tach cluster are perfect, the gauge cluster face as some areas where the black paint is rubbed off. The seats are original (in need of foam kits and covers), rear carpet is original, the front carpet was trashed, I changed it. The gas tank has been replaced. It has the original ignition shielding, and braided plug wires. Approved lubricant tag is still on the differential. Things that work normally or are in great condition: headlight buckets, heater blower turn signals power windows, door locks (both sides lock and open with the key) ammeter, temp gauge, fuel gauge, speedo, tach, lights (hi and low beams), rear blower, steering wheel, rocker panel moldings, door sills, door latches, windshield molding. Issues: horn does not work, a piece of the bottom radiator core support (non-structural) is rusted through in places, rear view mirror is de-silvering. The windshield wiper pop-up panel does not move, probably due to a broken plastic vacuum-hose stud on the wiper motor. Glove box pouch is sagging, passenger door panel is cracked, radio doesnt play, oil pressure gauge and clock dont work. The car runs and drives excellent, with no heating problems. It starts right up, high-idles, and kicks down to a smooth 700rpm idle. The engine is 10.25:1 compression, 390hp, 500lb-ft torque. It has no lifter noise or other issues. The RH valve cover has a decal Number 1 Team Tonawonda. No significant problems with the running gear that I am aware of (transmission fluid leaks moderately in storage). The original rally wheels and caps are on it. It has the following casting numbers, which are all correct for this application. Engine block: 3963512. Intake manifold: 3955287.
Rochester Q-Jet: 7040204. Left Head: 3964290. Right Head: 3964290. Left Exhaust Manifold: 3969869. Right : 3880828. Alternator: 1100900. Engine Code
