Car history: |
This car has a powerful Stroked Small block with a Rock Crusher 4-speed transmisson. You will notice the flared rear fenders done sometime in the 80's as well as the fixed position front head lights. Outside color is a rich Red with black interior. The Engine is kind of a Mistery ( I'll explain ) Beleive it or not this car was a REPO. The finance Company I purchaced this car from said the Engine had over 10k invested but the owner refused to provide all the receipts and books at the time of reposession. I have had many fellow hot rodders like myself look at the engine and they all say the same thing ( It's a stroked small block) The valve covers and air cleaner are billet aluminum and have 427 engraved on them. Some of the visible goodies are: Team G intake, Hooker headers, Elderbrok Carb, Mallery Ignition and one seriously high lift Camshaft. I have driven this car about 5 miles and I was shocked at how fast this car was. Transmission and clutch are strong with smooth shifting. Interior is complete but worn ( See Pics ) needs restored. There is NO A/C or power windows and not all of the guages are working. There is a little red wire in the pictures of the center console. This goes to a toggle switch for actuating the ignition, Replacing the ignition switch will remedy the need for this switch ( It came that way ). Body is all there with no visible cracking but panel lines are not perfect and some areas should have been blocked a little better before they painted it ( Deck lid, and Doors mainly ) Modified Rear flares with wider wheels,Fixed position head lights, L88 hood has hood pins and added vent (see pic) Inner wheel wells are missing. Paint is on a scale from 1-10 a modest 4-5. Dont get me wrong, It shines and you can see youself in it but it's not a Corvette paint job by no means. The pictures make this car look better than it is, sorry Im just to honest for my own good. The rubber weather striping appears to be original and needs replaced. All glass is intact and in good condition, Windows roll up and down, Left rear caster alignment is off. Drivability: Car drives straight, Brakes stop good, handles like a stock vette.
