1969 Corvette Coupe, SURVIVOR 427ci - 390hp, M21 4speed, 64,959 original miles. Extremely nice and original unmolested survivor quality all numbers matching Big Block Corvette. N13 Built September 13, 1969 974 Monza Red exterior ZQ4 Standard Black Vinyl interior Engine Casting Info 3963512 Engine Stamping Info T0904LM, 19S729512 Transmission Casting Info 3925660 Transmission Stamping Info P8H18B, 19S729512 Rear Axle Stamping - FA9869W (3.70 Heavy Duty Positraction 427) Exterior: I believe the paint is all original, but cannot answer with 100 per cent certainty. The paint shows extremely well but it does have checking in many areas, please see the pictures for better detail. The stainless trim is near perfect condition. The chrome shines very well and is all straight, but it does have some light pitting. The glass is in great condition and all date codes match and correspond with the build date of the car. The weather stripping is original and still in very good condition. Interior: The interior is all original and in great condition. The door panels and dash are very nice with no cracks. The carpet is very nice as well as the original floor mats. The driver seat shows some signs of wear and the foam in both seats is detreating. All the interior lights and gauges work properly as well as the clock. The radio has been replaced with a reproduction model with a tape deck and aftermarket speakers were add in the rear of the cabin. Overall the interior is really nice and actually smells nice and original with no old car musty smell. Drivetrain/Chassis: The engine, transmission and rear end are original to the car and all are in proper working order. The engine appears rather clean, I suspect it has been rebuilt but cannot verify. The engine bay appears original and unmolested. All the wiring and vacuum lines are original and in the proper order. The smog equipment has been removed and is no longer with the car. The alternator has been replaced but the original delco alternator is included with the car. The original Rochester carburetor was recently rebuilt, it is the correct carburetor for the car with the correct date codes. The exhaust system was replaced within the last 1000 miles (complete from the original manifolds back with Flowmaster exhaust). The spare tire is original with the correct date codes factory marks and has never been on the ground. The frame is rust and accident free. I have owned the car for five years and was planning to keep the car forever, unfortunately my plans have changed and the car is now available for sale. The car runs and drives great. I have taken the car on multiple 100 mile road trips with never an issue. Everything on the car functions as it should with the exception of the emergence brake. I am the owner and I have the clear IL title in my name. The car is located in Marshall, IL 62441. BiN $29,000 but sold below. November 3, 2015. |
