| Current owner purchased this car in 2002 and has put 13,500 miles on it since. Just prior to purchasing the car the previous owner rebuilt the motor and repainted it in the factory original warbonnet yellow. In 1973 the original 454 motor was replaced under warranty by GM with a 454 LS5 motor bearing codes for non specific use. So although this car still retains the factory original color and 454 4 speed configuration, it is technically no longer a matching numbers car. Having said that, it is a very well preserved example. The entire interior is in excellent original condition with the exception of the carpets which were replaced in 2000. Leather seats show a bit of patina but are soft and in great shape. This car has removable T-tops as well as the rear glass. It's a turn-key driver ready to continue its life of cruze nights and week-end car shows. The exhaust, brake, and suspension systems are all in great shape. The frame is rust-free and shows no signs of any previous repairs. The paint has some flaws but is pretty nice for being 15 years old. In 2001 at the time of the engine rebuild the odometer was rebuilt and set back to zero so the overall miles from day one is unknown. The two current issues needing attention are the vacuum assisted wipers which are not operating as they should and the steering which has more play then it should. This car drives great and has plenty of power. For the past 13 years it's been garaged and only driven in nice weather, averaging about 1,000 miles a year. This car is being sold with a clear New Hampshire title as well as a bill of sale. Sale also includes shop manual, repair records and photo album from motor build. 13,500 miles from the odometer.
