This is my friends beautiful 1968 Corvette Convertible Roadster! This car is absolutely gorgeous! It runs and drives excellent! He got this on trade for his mint restored 46 Ford 2 door sedan to drive for the summer and now he wants to sell it and find a "new" toy! So here she goes--->This car started out as a factory 327 Muncie 4 speed 3.73 Posi Corvette that was originally painted in code #983 British Green Metallic paint with black standard interior. The car was built November 9th 1967 in St Louis Missouri. Over the years it remained British Green and when the last owner got it (before my friend did) the color was changed to the brilliant color she is today which is perfectly named....Taxi Yellow Base/Clear Coat. She truly sports this color very very well! No disappointments in this department! The Vette has a built 350 Chevrolet engine bored .30 over making it actually a 355 CID engine her now and was rebuilt in 2000 and only has about 1800 miles since rebuild. The car was not driven very much until last summer after my friend got it he put about 1500 miles on it. Car has been in storage and has been covered as she has been since 2000 and garaged after every drive last summer!! The engine has an Edelbrock Torker Aluminum intake and matching Edelbrock valve covers! She is backed by the original Muncie M21 Close Ratio tranny and the Original 3.73 Posi rear end and runs and drives very well. This built lil 355 Engine is a great performer and the transmission shifts very smoothly. THE NEW Car has brand new 4 wheel dics brakes, New original OER 4 piston calipers, New Master Cylinder, New MSD 6A Ignition, Blaster Coil and New MSD Distrbutor, New Emergency Brake Set Up (includes all new retainers clips etc), New Disc Brake Shoes, New Dual Exhaust (Glass Packs, Sounds great has a sweet rumble to it!), New 4 speed console, New door panels, New Door Trim, New Front and Rear Bumpers, New American Racing 5 Spoke wheels and New BF Goodrich Radial T/A 245 60 15s Tread on the rear and New BF T/A 215 60 15s on the front. Also included is a New car cover to keep her clean and beautiful! WHAT SHE NEEDS Wipers are not working(car is NEVER driven in bad weather so last owner never had them hooked up properly nor did my friend). Heater (again never driven in bad weather will need hooked back up if you like) How many Vettes are driven in the rain unless you had to? :~D and lastly the speedometer was making loud noises so it was disconnected. That's it! All easy fixes! EXTRAS! The car comes with the original 15x8 Corvette only Rally Wheels with nice tread on them!! Als she comes with all of the original take offs (Console, Ebrake, calipers, trim etc) EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON THE CAR ORIGINALLY IS STILL WITH HER AND GOES WITH HER WHEN YOU TAKE IT HOME!
